Last month, staff at Brick Kiln Place appealed to residents for toy donations, with the aim of bringing joy to children who would otherwise be visiting or spending time at Kingfisher Ward over the Christmas period.

As you will be aware, it has been announced that The Queen’s state funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19th September at 11.00am. The day has been approved as a bank holiday by HRH King Charles III and, as a result, we write to confirm that the Association has agreed to classify Monday 19th September as an additional Bank Holiday for staff.
