How do you let us know you’re leaving?
When you’re ready to move, we’ll guide you through notice periods, inspections, and everything needed for a smooth goodbye.
Please give at least four weeks’ written notice by emailing housing@lacehousing.org or your Housing and Support Team working at your Extra Care Scheme directly Contact us.
We’ll send you an end-of-tenancy form to complete electronically or print and return.
Tenancies usually end on a Sunday, with keys returned by 10 a.m. Monday.
See Contact Us.
If your tenancy is joint, both tenants are equally responsible for rent and the property’s condition.
If one person wishes to leave, please contact us before giving notice so we can explain the options and any forms that need completing.
Once we receive your notice, we’ll confirm the official end date, arrange an inspection, and explain how to hand back your keys.
Before leaving, please:
Remove all belongings and rubbish.
Clean the property thoroughly.
Leave decoration in good condition.
