What does your role involve?

My work blends housing management and support. One moment I’m helping with benefits or utility bills, the next I’m supporting daily tasks, carrying out safety checks or welcoming new residents. Every day is different.

Why did you choose Lace — and why do you stay?

After working in a hospital and trying a completely different role, I realised how much I missed supporting people. What keeps me here is the purpose, the positivity and the genuine job satisfaction.

What do you enjoy most?

Working with residents. Helping people feel safe, settle in and grow in confidence is incredibly rewarding.

How do you feel your work makes a difference?

I’m proud to help people find the right home and environment. Many residents flourish in ways they didn’t expect once they move to Lace.

Describe working at Lace in three words:

Caring. Open. Professional.

What would you say to someone thinking of joining?

Do it! I’m happy and content in my work — and not everyone can say that.
