Our Holiday Accommodation is Good to Go!

We’re excited to announce that our award-winning four-star holiday apartment for over 55s in Skegness has now been approved by the Visit England We’re Good to Go industry standard certification for being COVID secure.

Our holiday apartment at Chapman Court in Skegness, which is purpose-built for older people, has now reopened following the nationwide lockdown owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

The self-contained one-bedroom apartment is centrally heated and comprises a fully furnished lounge, a fully equipped kitchen-diner, a twin bedroom with electric profiling beds and a bathroom with suitable grab rails.

Chapman Court, located on Scarborough Avenue, is within easy reach of a wide range of amenities and close to Skegness’ bustling town centre. The nearest bus stop is also less than 200 metres away, allowing residents to access public transport on their doorstep.

The apartment is ideally located in an area to explore Skegness during a short break or a week away as the town boasts award-winning sandy beaches, great attractions and a range of facilities along the promenade and seafront.

The We’re Good to Go certification formally recognises how we’re following Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, having put a revised risk assessment in place and adapted our processes for maintaining a high level of cleanliness.

During a stay, residents can rest assured that all the necessary precautions are being taken as all guests are asked to wear face coverings when they are in the communal areas of the building, until they enter the apartment.

We have removed all non-essential items such as decorative cushions, throws and literature, to reduce the risk of the virus staying on surfaces.

Another step we have taken is to reduce the number of bookings and we’re also allowing 72 hours between each one to allow for thorough cleaning.

People are understandably very keen to escape to the coast this year and we are already fully booked until the end of October! The apartment is open all year round, with no peak season pricing, making it a perfect place to book a late winter break.

We are continuing to monitor the situation with COVID-19 closely to ensure our residents and holidaymakers are kept safe.

Should our guests have their holiday cancelled, owing to local lockdown restrictions or a previous guest developing symptoms, they will receive a full refund or have their booking deferred.
