Working in partnership with Lincoln University, we are involved in ‘ENRICHME’, a 3 year EU Funded project that seeks to enrich the lives of older people by maximising their independence through the use of robotic and smart home technology. The value in which robotics and smart home technology can bring includes the monitoring of a person’s welfare/wellbeing, the collation of data and the ability to remind of appointments, the taking of medication and the preparation of meals. This is an exciting project involving residents at Olsen Court and Brick Kiln Place which has attracted local and national media interest.
