Did you know, LACE Housing was founded by Frank Eccleshare OBE in 1964 to help meet the housing and support needs of older people within the City of Lincoln?
Following a survey initiated by the City of Lincoln Council, Frank – a master builder and City Councillor at that time – was challenged by his wife to respond to the housing needs of the elderly within the city, and LACE Housing was formed.
