Hutchings Way is situated in the popular village of Welton. The ten, two bedroom bungalows form part of Diamond Place, our new housing development, off Prebend Lane, within reach of convenience stores, takeaways, doctor’s surgery and public transport. The bungalows are available to purchase under the government funded Older Persons Shared Ownership scheme, with the applicant purchasing the bungalow for 75% of the current market value.  

The Diamond Place complex provides an environment designed to enable residents to feel safe, secure and help with feelings of loneliness and isolation. Diamond Place boasts a restaurant, communal lounge, and landscaped gardens. Leaseholders of the bungalows have access to the communal facilities, separate charging applies.

Am I eligible?

When we have a vacancy for one of our rented homes, we will either allocate from our own waiting list or for some schemes we will advertise through a local authority Choice Based Lettings system. 

If you are applying for one of our new build leasehold shared ownership homes or looking to purchase one of our existing leasehold homes from an existing leaseholder, we will contact you regarding availability.

Should be over 55

Applicants and their household must be over the age of 55 to apply

Renting your home

When renting a home with us, you will need to have sold or intend to sell your home and be able to afford the rent.

Purchasing your home

If you are purchasing a leasehold property, you will need to sell any home you own in conjunction with the completion of the sale.

Extra care housing

For our extra care housing you must have a minimum of 1 hour care and support needs per week and you must intend to use some of the communal facilities provided.

Local connection

For some of our schemes priority is given to those within the local area, and then the immediate surrounding area.
