Day 6 - Cleveland Walk

Whilst we all look as though we have seen the sun, we wish to reassure everyone that we have been walking along the Cleveland Way and not spending time overseas relaxing by the pool. We will bring photos on our return on Monday (flights permitting!!).

Today's weather was much better. Rain overnight meant that our path was very muddy but the sun was out. Karen took another tumble and Sara introduced a new way of overcoming muddy shoes! High spirits were evidenced by Bob whistling and whilst assisting a group of ladies over a stream, one fell into the arms of Trevor. Elliot continues to maintain his pace at the front. Sore knees and feet continue to take their toll. Today's trek left Robin Hoods Bay at 9.30, arriving in Scarborough towards the end of the afternoon. Views were stunning as we oassed through Ravenscar, Cloughton and Burniston. We were joined by Emma, Tracey and Michelle from Brick Kiln Place for our final 10 miles to Filey tomorrow. The day concluded with our final meal together at a local italian restaurant.
