Following 13 years as Chief Executive of the National Housing Federation, David Orr has retired, his final address was at this year's annual National Housing Summit in London. Over the two days speakers, including the Prime Minister, paid tribute to his service to housing, making it his personal mission, a mission that now see's housing at the very top of the political agenda and government recognition that housing associations have a major role to play. David will be succeeded by Kate Henderson who takes up the role in November.

The National Housing Federation is a national trade organisation for housing associations in which LACE Housing is a member.
