Our Board members, Executive managers and Senior officers team visited Washingborough Hall Hotel recently – and bored they were not!
On Tuesday 11th September they met at the hotel for a strategic away day, which included lunch and guest speaker slots from Jessica Levy and Helen Greig from the National Housing Federation.
Public Affairs Manager Jessica gave a broad, national political update in relation to housing, including a precis on the current housing minister, the government’s current position dedicated to housing, recent wins and current challenges and the position of Labour as the Opposition.
Jessica’s colleague Helen, who is External Affairs Manager for the National Housing Federation, delivered a presentation from a more local perspective, covering the regional action plan, the push for development and the picture of housing in the East Midlands.
Also, part of the day were site visits to our developments in Ingham, Nettleham and Washingborough, to give the board and management team an update on progress.
