As you may already know, we’re under way with three new developments thanks in part to a successful £3.7m grant from the government’s Homes England as part of its Shared Ownership and Affordable Homes Programme.
One of these consists of 12 one and two-bedroom apartments in Ingham, for which we held a turning of the turf ceremony to officially mark Lindum Group’s start on site on Tuesday 17th July.
Since then the homes have been coming along nicely; according to the latest site progress report, everything is taking shape and on track for occupancy in January 2019.
The team from Lindum Group have been working hard throughout the heatwave to complete the timber frame and install the internal walls.
The village of Ingham is situated just 10 miles north of Lincoln and boasts two village greens – the larger of which is one of the most impressive in Lincolnshire.
Amenities include a village hall, tennis court and a shop, plus three pubs: The Black Horse, The Inn on the Green and The Windmill.
This development, just like all LACE Housing schemes, is designed to enable more older people to remain within the communities they have grown up in and maintain links with their friends and family while enjoying quality facilities.
