Following an early start, we arrived in Helmsley at 9.00am. Taking advantage of the local delicatessen, we set off from the Cross in the market place, making our way across fields to Sutton Bank. The weather remained kind until the final stages of the walk when we arrived in Osmotherley at 5.30pm. Sara Hobson had a tumble, but no harm done.
All experiencing aches and pains, last 5 miles seemed to go on forever! Following a meal at the Three Tunns, we all turned in for the night remembering to turn our clocks forward, losing a valuable hours sleep! Tomorrow we face a further strenuous 20 miles before staying overnight in Great Ayton. Thanks for all the good wishes that have kept us going.
