The team rejoined the Cleveland Way, leaving behind Roseberry Topping and Middlesborough. It was an overcast and cold day across the moors which was not helped by a biting wind. There was an abundance of black grouse popping their heads up above the heather as the team passed by. In all, 19 miles was completed, the surface being rocky and uneven, causing further pain to knees and ankles. It was great to once again see the sea on the horizon, although a further 21 miles has to be endured until they finally reach their destination. Having not seen their families for nearly two weeks, there is great excitement for day 12. An early start on Good Friday is essential to ensure arrival at Robin Hoods Bay in good time. During the walk, Nick hopes to be live on BBC Lincolnshire on the Scott Dalton show. Telephone signal permitting, you can hear him just before 9.00am on day 12.
