To mark our 50th Anniversary, we are focusing our attention on loneliness and isolation, a situation that is becoming increasingly common amongst older people living within the local community. Together, we hope to raise £30,000 in order to purchase a 'Golden Ambulance'. Designed to a high specification, the vehicle will be for those confined to a wheelchair who value the opportunity to remain independent and get out and about.
It is for this reason, we seek your support. On the 7th April 2014, 5 members of staff from Lace House, will walk from Coast to Coast (St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay - 190 miles).
