Gordon Fry, a resident at Brick Kiln Place who recently featured in our Autumn edition of LACE Matters, has begun weekly CAMEO meetings for all residents. The club provides residents with an opportunity to ‘Come And Meet Each Other’, and is run solely by residents for residents.
With the help of his twin daughters, Gordon arranges something different every week. So far residents have engaged in singalongs, met with the local police and heard about personal safety within the home and when out and about and were inspired by local fund raisers Alison and Fiona following their recent charity bike ride from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, raising money for the Stathern War Memorial and Church near Melton Mowbray.
The CAMEO club meets every Wednesday and is proving very popular for all residents at our Housing with Extra Care Scheme in Grantham.
