Our Board of Management collectively possess the qualities required to make decisions and monitor our performance. Their knowledge, skills and experience are monitored on a periodic basis to ensure that they are competent in their role and responsibilities. They appoint our Executive team to manage existing operations and implement our approved strategic plan. Our Board of Management meets on a quarterly basis in accordance with our Rules and Code of Governance.
Our Board of Management is led by our Chairman, Mr Bob Walder and is supported by our Vice Chair Miss Jessica Sellick.
Our Board of Management and Executive team are a most valuable resource and are subject to ongoing training in order that they can effectively fulfil their duties.
Nick Chambers - Chief Executive
Nick has worked within the social housing sector for over 26 years, 19 of which as Chief Executive at LACE Housing. As a member of the Chartered Institute of Management, Nick has gained considerable experience, knowledge and understanding regarding the housing, care and support needs of older people. Nick is Chairman of the Greater Lincolnshire Housing Association Partnership and Lincolnshire Independent Living Partnership. For over 14 years Nick has provided services to Education and currently serves as a Director of a local Academy.
Kevin White - Director of Finance
Kevin joined the Association in 2002 following 25 years in the banking industry. As a Chartered Associate of the Institute of Financial Services, Kevin continues to bring valuable treasury skills and knowledge to the Association in support of its development plans. Kevin also takes overall responsibility for the Associations IT systems and had overseen the implementation of specialist housing management and accounting, and time and attendance/HR software to gain efficiencies in the work of the finance and payroll functions.
Anne Graves - Operation Manager
Having worked in social housing for almost a quarter of a century, Anne joins the team following her role as Head of Tenancy Services for Midlands housing association Longhurst Group. Anne's formal qualifications and considerable experience in housing, human resources and health and safety demonstrate her dedication to providing excellent and innovative services. Anne holds a postgraduate diploma in housing policy and practice and has been studying for an HR qualification.

Bob Walder - Chairman
Bob has worked in the sector throughout his career; retiring as Chief Executive of Longhurst Group in 2015. He led the group’s growth from 800 to 18,500 homes and turnover of over £100 million per annum. He is also currently chair of Bishop Grosseteste University and Saffron Housing Trust as well as interim chair of Ongo Partnership
Jessica Sellick - Vice Chair
Jessica is a researcher at Rose Regeneration and a senior visiting fellow at The National Centre for Rural Health and Care (based in Lincoln). She works on rural and coastal project across the UK. Jessica has a PhD in geographical sciences, is a Chartered Geographer (CGeog), a visiting fellow at Huddersfield Business School; a Fellow of the RSA; and a member of the Institute of Economic Development.
Barbara Fowler - Board member
Barbara has worked in the housing sector for over 25 years; initially with the District Council in rent services, before specializing in supported housing and subsequently transferring to a Housing Association under a LSVT.
Barbara had responsibility for all aspects of supported housing, Right to Buy and administration and involvement in strategic planning of services such as maintenance, housing management, rent services, development, financial services and IT.
James Hazel - Board Member
James Hazel qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and specialised in corporate law, commercial litigation and employment law. He was an equity partner in a regional law firm where he held various departmental headships. In 2016, James retired from legal practice but continues to have involvement with various third sector associations and is soon to be a published author of crime fiction.
Karen Seddon - Board Member
Karen is a retired Registered Nurse whose background was latterly in elderly care and rehabilitation. In the past she was Vice Chair of SSAFA at Cranwell and a parent elected member of LCC for education and scrutiny.
She has been the Vice Chair of Governors at a large Foundation Primary School for nearly twenty years with a special interest in Health and Safety and Safeguarding.
Both of Karen’s parents spent their last two years together in a LACE Extra Care Facility and she therefore understands the positive difference LACE can make to the quality of life and happiness of their older residents.
She is delighted to be involved with the LACE team in 2019 as the Board member appointed as Residents Champion.
Bob Livermore FCIH - Board Member
Bob has worked in the Social Housing Sector for 40 years , working at Senior level for Grimsby BC , N E Lincs Council and retiring as Director of Housing and Inclusion from West Lancashire BC.
Bob wishes to bring his experience , skills and expertise to help LACE Housing provide 1st class services for customers
Stuart Robinson - Board Member
Stuart has been delivering residential housing development projects for 35 years; initially with Lincolnshire County Council and then as part of the management buyout of Allison Homes in 1991 before selling to Kier group in 2001. He has been involved a numerous housing development from single plots to major projects of 3000+ units. He looks forward to bringing those years of experience to LACE in helping them to deliver the ambitious development program.

John Lingard - Co-opted Member
After a career in the Police service and then in retail security, John spent his final working years at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln. Over the years, he has served on various local charitable and community committees, chairing several from time to time and has been a committee member of a national radio communications registered charity for over 25 years. John also spent 12 years as a local Councillor. Following his late mother's becoming a LACE resident, and seeing at first hand the difference that LACE makes to the lives of its residents, John joined the committee of the 'Friends Of LACE Housing', and has been its Chair for the past few years as well as a Co-opted member of the Board.
