Wellington View completes!

Keys to the first 12 of 82 new homes to be completed this year have been handed over to the Associations Chief Executive, Nick Chambers. Situated within the popular village of Ingham, Wellington View is the first of three developments to be completed by local building contractor Lindum Construction. Representatives from the Parish Council, RAF Ingham Heritage Centre and the neighbouring GP Practice were first to view the properties this week.

'Understandably our latest development in Ingham is generating much interest, 8 of the 12th apartments have already been allocated.' said Nick. 'With good access to public transport and local facilities the accommodation is of a good size with excellent views over the village and surrounding countryside. Designed for older people, the development incorporates many features to support the welfare and wellbeing of our residents. We wish to ensure that older people remain within the community in which they have previously lived and feel safe and secure within a home that is both affordable and efficient to maintain.'

The £1.6m development will officially be opened on the 2nd May by representatives from RAF Ingham Heritage Centre and Ingham Primary School. 'Wellington View became possible thanks to funding from Homes England and the support from the local community. Together we have made this development happen and I am of no doubt that it will make a real difference to the lives of those in need within a rural setting.' said Nick.
