Following the successful walk in April, staff and Board members once again donned their walking shoes for a 6 mile circular walk from the beautiful Wolds village of Donington on Bain.
Led by Nick, the walk began from St Andrews Church and, following a small climb through woodland, joined a bridleway with colourful views of the countryside.
A welcome rest and bite to eat in Gayton le Wold prepared everyone for the next stage of the walk along the Viking Way, across the site of the ancient village of Biscathorpe and along the river Bain before returning to the village. The walked concluded with a refreshing drink at the Black Horse Inn before home.
The next walk is planned for November.
