Enrich me

On Wednesday18th May a demonstration took place of a prototype robot for the ENRICHME project funded by Horizon 2020.

The tenants from our extra care schemes voted on what the prototype should be called last December.  The winning name was ‘Alfie’, meaning sage or wise and in recognition of Alfred Lord Tennyson, the Lincolnshire born poet.

The demonstration was presented by the project team from University of Lincoln (UK) and
ENSTA ParisTech (France) and was reported on by ITV later that day.
We would like to thank all the tenants who took part and especially those who agreed for Alfie to visit them in their own flats for further testing and data collection.  If you would like to watch the ITV report please follow the link below.
